Saxsational began life in Sheffield in 2003 when four local music graduates were looking for opportunities to develop their saxophone playing and have a giggle performing together.
They soon found that the unique, seductive sound of four saxophones coupled with their flourishing musical talents made them a big hit on the Sheffield music scene. Saxsational was invited to perform at numerous public concerts, recitals and music festivals, its quirky blend of jazz and classical music being something just that little bit different for audiences to enjoy.
Our music has something for everyone.

Since then, Saxsational has performed at countless weddings, private parties and corporate events, adding some sophisticated sparkle to many a celebration.
Over the years the quartet has expanded to include a number of new players. Our musicians are currently some of the leading saxophonists in the North of England and Midlands. Based in Sheffield and Birmingham, Saxsational is available for performances throughout the UK.
